Packed with protein from the patty, healthy fats from the avocado, and nutritious vitamins and minerals from the alfalfa sprouts, these burgers are filling and delicious yet pack a serious nutritional punch!
Try these out at your next BBQ – they’ll be a hit even amongst meat eaters!
Start by preparing your guacamole. Place the avocado in a large mixing bowl (or blender if you prefer a finer consistency)
Now onto the burger. In a small bowl mix together your spice mix.
Drizzle over a little olive oil onto your burger and then rub in the spice mix. Discard any remaining mix.
Add a tad of oil to a hot frying pan and cook the burger until golden.
Serve on burger bun of choice, layer the lettuce, burger, onion slices and the alfalfa sprouts and spread on a thick layer of guacamole. Add your top bun and dig in!
